Our consultants are specially trained to know every detail about our gowns, vendors, timelines, and can give expert advice for what is and isn’t possible in alterations. This knowledge is essential to ensure you have a great experience and find your dream gown. Most of our gowns are available to purchase out of our collection and our consultants are trained in getting you in and out of our gowns. She will make sure the fit is perfect by clamping where necessary so you can see exactly what the gown will look like once it is altered to your body.
It is best to make the appointment as early as possible. Gowns can take up to 6 months to arrive in our shop, so to avoid rush fees, you’ll want to come as soon as possible. Many of our brides come before they actually have their engagement ring!

Each gown is made to order, and sometimes the factories need to wait for fabric to be made. Plus there are shipping delays with packages needing to sit in customs in the country the gown is being manufactured in, and then again it sits in customs in the USA. We take all of those factors into consideration when giving the ship dates.
Yes! You can purchase right out of our collection of 100’s of gowns. It is very common for a bride to have a tight timeline, so we stock a lot of gowns.

You never know when the magic will happen, so make sure to bring the people with you who’s opinions matter the most. 8 out of 10 brides find their dress on their first appointment, so make sure you’ve got all the people here that you want to celebrate with. We celebrate BIG at Pritchett!
You don’t need to bring anything with you to your appointment. We have dressing rooms with slips you can wear. However, a lot of our brides like to wear spanx, bring shoes or have their hair and makeup done so they can see better what the gown will look like on their wedding day. We do ask that you are FRESHLY SHOWERED before you come, as many brides buy out of our collection.
We love children! Unfortunately, there are no children under 5 years old allowed at the appointments unless they are infants or can sit on an adults lap. Sadly, we have had to make this rule, as we had some sticky fingers & juice getting on our gowns.
We carry Boho, Fit n’ Flare, Fit n’ Straight, Ballgowns & A-Lines
Yes, we absolutely carry simple gowns! We have of different types and fabrics to choose from!
No, we carry both garment friendly and non-garment friendly. Many of our styles started out non-garment friendly and then one of our owners, Tiffany, redesigns them to be garment friendly. So, we can order the gowns in their original design on any of those gowns. We carry 3 designers that won’t let us redesign with them, so we get those gowns and order extra fabric, so you have the choice to build them up or not.
We re-design many gowns so they are original and custom to Pritchett Bridal. Plus, one of our owners, Tiffany, designs original gowns and those are in our Tiffany Sally Collection.
Our average ticket price, out the door, is $2,000.
Our consultants are very aware of budgets and will absolutely help you to stay on track. However, the bridal party is free to pull gowns and a lot of times they pull gowns that are out of the bride’s budget. So please ask your bridal party to be aware of your price point.
Yes, they usually run 1-2 sizes small. So, if you are a street size 6, you will most likely be a wedding gown size 10.
We do not recommend purchasing a smaller gown, even if you are planning on loosing weight. It is much easier to take in a gown than let it out.
Measurements that are taken by our seamstresses only give a brief description of your body. These measurements allow us to know what general size to order. All of our wedding gowns are made on a mannequin and custom alterations will need to be done once the gown has arrived.
Is it possible to change necklines and sleeves if I buy out of stock? What about if I order my gown?
Necklines & sleeves can be changed on both gowns bought out of stock or ordered. There are sometimes some limits as to what exactly can be done, but alterations will be able to guide you thru those decisions.
Alterations are separate from the price of the gown.
Yes, we do alterations in-house. The cost is $50/hour, and you do not have to do your alterations in-house.
We usually have one sale per year around October/November where we sell our sample gowns. Keep an eye out on this website to get information on it.
