Our appointments are an hour and a half, or 90 minutes long. Your consultant will be with you every moment of your appointment to help you find dresses, try them on, keep track of your favorites, and answer any questions you have.

We do not rent any wedding dresses, all gowns at Pritchétt are for purchase only. We often have a section of more affordable gowns and may have a sale rack depending on the time of year.

We do take walk-ins, however, we cannot guarantee that we will have availability when you decide to walk in without an appointment. If we are fully booked or do not have an available consultant, you will not be able to try on dresses. Our store is often very busy and booked on any given day. We highly recommend making an appointment before you come in so you are guaranteed a spot in our private bridal suites and enough time to find your dream dress. You can call us at (801) 373‑0194 to make an appointment or schedule online.

We offer a full experience to each of our brides who come wedding dress shopping at Pritchétt. We provide you with your very own expert bridal consultant who gives you her undivided attention throughout your appointment. We want to make sure that you have enough time to see what gowns we have as well as enough time to try them on. Your consultant will be able to answer any questions you have during your appointment and help you with the process of picking your favorite.

Pritchétt Bridal does not offer any returns, refunds, or exchanges on wedding gowns that are purchased, whether they are sold out of our collection or ordered from the designer.

Our consultants are professionally trained to help you in and out of dresses, find exactly what you’re looking for, advise you on what alterations you may need, and let you know what’s possible with your timeline. The consultants know every detail about wedding dresses, styles, fabrics, accessories, and more. They know our inventory well and may be able to pull a dress for you that you wouldn’t have seen otherwise. They also know how to expertly clamp wedding dresses to show how they should fit you once the dress is altered. Their knowledge is essential to a great experience because they can help you with things you may not know.

We advise making a bridal appointment as far in advance as possible. Wedding dresses can take up to six months to order, and alterations can take anywhere from four to eight weeks. Many of our brides come in before they are engaged! It’s also important to keep in mind when you’re planning on taking bridal pictures, because that’s the date you need your dress by. Of course, if your wedding is sooner than that we have hundreds of gowns that you can buy out of our collection, and we will do everything we can to make sure that you get your dress in time for your wedding.

Each gown is made to order by hand and the factories that make them have hundreds of gowns to work on. They may also have to wait for a special fabric to be shipped to them or made. There is also always the risk of shipping delays, especially when your gown is being shipped internationally. We do our best to take this into consideration when we are giving you the ship dates for your gown.

We have hundreds of gowns for you to buy in our store! Most of our gowns are sold right out of our collection.

We are used to working with brides who have short timelines, and we will work with you to get you your dress on time.

You never know when you could fall in love with a dress, so make sure you have the people there who you want to share that special moment with. Come in with an idea of what you might like or pictures to show your consultant. Check out The Process to get a more in-depth idea of what will happen at your appointment. And be ready to celebrate!

We like to advise our brides to bring a nude, high-quality bra to wear when they try on dresses. We provide you with a slip to wear underneath all of the gowns. If you want to bring any shapewear or spanks to wear as you’re trying dresses on, feel free! It’s also a good idea to do your hair and makeup so you can get an idea of how you’ll look on your wedding day with everything all together.

We love kids! Unfortunately, we do not allow any children under the age of 5 in our store unless they are infants or will sit on an adult’s lap for the entire appointment. In the past, we have had issues with kids knocking over expensive displays and getting our dresses dirty.

We have both modest and contemporary dresses in our store. Many of our built-up dresses can be altered to be more contemporary, and many contemporary gowns can be built up to be more modest.

Our dresses range in price from about $1500 to $3500. Our average dress price is around $2000, and most of our dresses will be close to that. We occasionally have gowns that are less than $1500, and some that are more than $3500, but it’s very few. We may have a sale rack of dresses for less than $1000 depending on the time of year.

Yes! Most bridal sizes are around 1-2 sizes smaller than what you normally wear, depending on the designer.

Every dress is made with a standard sizing chart. Each person has a unique body and dresses are going to fit everyone differently. We offer in-house alterations to ensure that your dress will fit you perfectly on your big day.

We can customize any dress bought out of our collection or any dress that is ordered. There are very rarely limits to what can be done, but our master seamstresses are highly skilled and will be able to let you know what they can do to make sure you have the dress of your dreams.

Alterations are a separate cost that you will pay after you’ve purchased your dress.

You do not have to do alterations with us, but our alterations department is highly skilled and experienced with our gowns. When you do alterations somewhere else, there is a much higher risk of your dress being ruined.

We usually have an anniversary sale in the fall. Keep an eye on our Instagram page @pritchettbridal for information about the sale.

We do not do any holds for dresses. If you want to think about it, your consultant will write down your favorite dress and save it to your profile for when you want to come back for it.
